This essential (and entertaining) webinar will teach you what you need to know about working with insurance, even if you NEVER join an insurance plan. You’ll get the latest information on telehealth billing and coverage, including what needs to be in your documentation. You’ll get answer to all your questions about working with insurance, including the latest in telehealth billing and coverage, the pros and cons of joining plans, what out-of-network providers should know, (hint: did you know that even giving a client a superbill opens up your treatment for review?), and tips to help you keep new clients when you aren’t on their plan. You’ll learn how to avoid the costly mistakes therapists make, the critical questions to ask when checking coverage, tips for avoiding denials, and the secret to getting more treatment approved.

Working with couples is not only clinically challenging, but it can be difficult to navigate the added complexities in the areas of billing, documentation, and ethical practice. When can you ethically bill insurance for couples? Who really is your client? Do you need two charts and treatment plans? What does insurance expect? When one member of the couple comes in alone, how do you handle confidentiality, and how do you bill for the session? This live presentation, applicable to psychotherapists nationwide, will cover practical issues you deal with when working with couples, challenge myths you may have, clarify areas of confusion, and invite you to think more carefully about your current policies.
